A recent conversation in our kitchen:
Joshua: Mommy, you're very strict.
Jen: Thank you.
Joshua: .....(pause).... What does "strict" mean?
Jen: (smiling) It means I have a lot of rules, and I enforce them. I make sure you follow them.
Joshua: Daddy, you're not strict.
